December 31: New Years Eve
2003: Piotr has a New Year's party (with vodka) in his room.
2004: Kitty and Jamie take an important step in their relationship. Madelyn spends the night on Cain duty. Proteus (plot): New Year's Eve at Muir is interrupted by Joe MacTaggart showing up with a certain Proteus in tow. Fortunately, the combined power at the castle is enough to stop his plans. Nathan finds Shiro in the kitchen and makes his opinion of Shiro's behaviour very clear.
2005: New Year’s Eve passes without incident.
2006: Remy tracks Ororo down in Kenya and tells her the manipulations of the local climate are proving catastrophic to Africa as a whole. New Year's Eve at Silver - the fund raiser for HeliX is a great success and people have fun; Betsy and Haller get back together; Crystal arrives slightly tipsy from the party in Attilan; Sarah and Angelo decide to have one last bout of trouble for the year. Scott and Jean elope.
2007: New Year's Eve.
2008: Jean-Paul and Catseye make a new start. Jean-Paul makes a lot of venison dishes from Morgan's deer. Operation: Anansesem: Betsy and Emma arrive in London and manage to pry some of the source of Wanda's problem from her mind, at a cost. Nathan wishes everyone a Happy New Year from Muir. Monet and Kurt see in the New Year together.
2009: Crystal posts about celebrating New Years Eve twice. Warren texts Jay to find out what he's up to. Carry On: Julian discovers via the tv news that old friend Dean Alwin is about to be taken off life support. After a New Year's date (and their first anniversary), Kurt asks Monet to move in with him and she asks for time to think.
2010: Crystal wishes everyone a Happy New Year. The Best Deceptions: In California, the Hayes family are attacked by the Orphan Maker, seeking to take their daughter Molly, but the mutant status of both parents means things go more awry than intended and Dr. Gene Hayes accidentally kills their neighbour, requiring them to flee. Megan finds Julian working on his car and they discuss her quest to London, his misadventures in L.A. and the awesomeness of his car.
2011: Layla wakes up in the infirmary after over-using her powers and sends out a distress call for food and painkillers. Tabitha and Warren discuss the next item on her "Bucket List."
2012: Jean announces on her journal that she is in Hawaii with Scott for their anniversary, to be followed by a trip to Muir, and warns that they should only be contacted for (dire) emergencies. Tandy wishes everyone a happy New Year. Auld Lang Syne: Molly interrupts a visit between the Frost sisters and it becomes clear she has no memory of events since the previous May, before Genosha; Emma questions Wade about a possible cause for Molly's amnesia; while Emma and Wade talk, Adrienne takes care of Molly, who freaks out when she sees the snow outside; when Wade tells Molly it's December, she has another fit and is rushed to medlab; Adrienne, Wade and Emma talk about what happened to Molly, with Emma revealing that stress appears to be causing Molly's mind to "reset" itself and Wade and Adrienne agree to talk to Molly's friend from the comic store; Adrienne and Wade talk to Adam, but discover that he is an ordinary human and had nothing to do with it; Molly's parents arrive and things are tense as it's revealed that Alice's wiping of Molly's memories is the cause of the problem; a shaky truce is made with Alice and Gene staying in Salem Center to help with Molly's therapy.
2013: Clarice posts about not being excited about drinking and partying for New Year’s. Scott posts to tell people that he and Jean are ringing in the New Year in Italy.
2014: Clint texts Gabriel about recording the ball drop for him. Adrienne discovers Rogue has no knowledge of Forge’s special skin coating solution and inadvertently gives her the best Christmas present ever.
2015: Gabriel posts about having of his first New Year in a long time. Darcy wishes everyone happy New Year.
2016: Topaz posts about Facebook, and how she wants to delete it. Darcy posts about making latkes. Felicia does an Instagram post regarding NYE.
