"It feels good, doesn't it? To be helping like this, rather then having to go in and protect people from crazies, or cope with something blowing up, or being attacked."

Instead of dealing with a crisis situation, the Spring Break Red X mission involved rebuilding parts of San Diego still damaged after the earthquake nearly two years ago.

Plot Summary

Even with the best intentions and cooperation, rebuilding a city takes time. Such is the case in San Diego, almost two years after the earthquake. Red X puts out a national call to its members, asking for help specifically in Barrio Logan, which was harder hit and which is a poorer area with many Mexican immigrants, still only half-rebuilt. Many of the Red X and non-Red X members of Xavier's attend to assist with the rebuilding.

Tasks: Rebuilding homes, malls, various other infrastructure. The fundamentals (water supply, sewerage, electricity, etc) are there, but more permanent housing is needed, as are the services that go along with a residential area (malls, library, churches, etc).
