SIROCCO were a group of Islamic mutant operatives who were killed during an assassination attempt during the first Erfurt International Symposium on Mutation.

SIROCCO is comprised of four men, all now deceased, whose true identities have never been established.

===Details===

SIROCCO is the remains of a crude 'pan-Islamic' super soldier program of the early nineties, spearheaded by Syria, and cobbled together from bought Soviet technology being sold off following the fall of the USSR. The four mutants involved in the program were all highly trained operatives from various Islamic countries (Egypt, Palestine, Syria, etc), selected for their limited mutations as well as their experience. Their powers are all physical in nature; moderate healing factors, augmented strength, speed, etc. However, the program fell apart fairly quickly by the end of the century, and some members of the program where aware at the time that they'd likely be killed to cover the secret. The group of four ended up in Pakistan, working for elements of that country's military as a covert force. [[Shiar| Calysee Neramani-Khan]] learned of them from her husband, and her brother [[Shiar| D. Ken]] had them hired prior to the collapse of Pakistan, and seeded them back to the Mediterranean as a possible future asset.

He secretly used them to infiltrate his sister's conference in order to assassinate [[William Bastion]], but instead, they were lured into a trap by members of [[X-Force]], who tricked them into a private room with [[Shiar| Lilandra's]] security, the [[Imperial Guard]], who were not aware that SIROCCO were operating under Prime Minister Neramani's orders. All four were quietly executed by the Imperial Guard.
