===Biography=== 

Ruth is a highly-placed agent in Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency. When she manifested as a teenager, the government offered her training to hone her powers. After completing her mandatory stint with the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel_Defense_Forces IDF], she decided to join Mossad, and now heads their program for mutant affairs.

While normally a relaxed woman dedicated to her job and to Israel's continued safety, she disobeyed strict orders towards the beginning of the decade when she single-handedly hunted down and brought the justice the terrorist cell responsible for organizing the suicide attack that killed her husband and son. She suffered a reprimand, but as she'd consistently displayed her loyalty and patriotism, the punishment was a price she was willing to pay.

Ruth has twice allied herself with the [[X-Men - Phase 1|X-Men]]. First, when a group of Israeli mutant settlers [[X-Men Mission: Who's The Thief|refused to be relocated]], the Israeli government asked for the X-Men's help to peaceably resolve the situation. She fought alongside the X-Men in the ensuing battle. More recently, she argued for the inclusion of the X-Men on a raid to a supposed [[X-Men Mission: Opera Redux|Iranian nuclear facility]] to save the mutant child forced to work for the Iranians.

===Powers/Abilities===

Sabra is a physically enhanced mutant. She possesses super-strength (can press about twenty tons), enhanced speed (can run up to 60 mph), thick skin that's resistant to injury, and a low level healing factor. She also wears gauntlets that shoot razor-sharp quills coated in a powerful tranquilizer.
