File:Gavin.jpg Courier: Jake Gavin Jr., is also known as 'Courier' as a result of his long-standing employment with his family's company, Infonet. Jake is a molecular-level shapeshifter, able to control every cell in his body and effect changes as minor as altering his eye colour, or as major as changing his entire gender. Stuck in a woman's form after X2, Jake came to Xavier's for help, somehow ending up as co-student counsellor with Pete Wisdom. Having regained his control again, Jake returned to Infonet, only to be coerced by Remy LeBeau into becoming a resource for intel-type matters, and later for X-Force. Not particularly brave or heroic, Jake looks out for himself but is capable of forming friendships that frequently last longer than the next best offer. Except if that offer involves cake. Jake has a photoreflexive malleable genetic imprint which gives him absolute control over every cell in his body. As a result of that, Jake can change his appearance, and survive a gunshot through the head without a mark to show for it. He can also control his cells at a distance. Like if you cut off his thumb and took off with it for nefarious purposes, he could destroy the entire thumb by thinking about it. He is an emergent mutant, meaning he’s had his powers all his life and used it ruthlessly to escape babysitters and curfews.
