He was discovered on a group training trip by [[Nathan Dayspring| Nathan]], who convinced him to come with them and helped him adapt to living within society again - or as much within society as an eight-foot bear man can manage. Amiable and sweet-tempered, he finds work with [[Elpis]] very much to his liking, and is fanatically loyal to his friends.

Danielle Moonstar arrived at the school as a pregnant teenager already estranged from her young husband due to her empathic powers being completely out of control. This improved with training and the birth and adoption of her son, Billy, by Hank McCoy, but Dani continued drifting for many years, unable to find her niche. Following an attack by Sabretooth and her subsequent weaponisation by Blaquesmith, her powers were more refined but focussed entirely on fear, dramatically altering her personality. In order to find her direction in life safely away from those she cared about, the Cheyenne relocated to the mutant nation of Attilan, for powers training and to complete her education. With renewed focus, who knows where her life might lead?
