Kick: Kick is the street name for a drug that enhances mutant powers, but with the risk of severe physical and psychological addiction and other side effects. In June of 2006, Kick was introduced to the world of XProject by way of a classmate of Shiro Yoshida's, and then Shiro's well-meaning decision to use the drug to boost his powers to help stop a tidal wave. Shiro fell victim to the drug's addictive nature, and quickly became dependant on it, losing his status on the X-Men, his girlfriend and his health and honor. Shiro's path to rehabilitation has been hard but, so far, successful, and in January, 2007, he returned to his active status on the X-Men.
