Plot Summary
Having been told about the advent of the wormhole in the eXcalibur basement during his absence by Kitty, Garrison realised that some of the Danger Room tech might come in handy in stablising the wormhole. Garrison, Kitty, Molly and Clint teamed up (after some butting heads) to implement Garrison's ideas. A test of the system revealed a discrepancy - an instability in another dimension that threatened to destroy it entirely.
Working on the theory that they might be able to fix the issue, Garrison and a team of eXcalibur members went into the wormhole and found themselves... at the mansion. There were significant differences, however, namely the giant purple robots attacking the building and a team of X-Men comprised of completely different members - some of whom were dead or on completely different teams in their original universe - fighting back. One half of the eXcalibur team tracked down the anomaly - a dimensional fracture - only to discover a team of Prime Sentinels had beaten them to it.
The other half of the team led the X-Men towards the fracture, where they fought and defeated the Sentinels. eXcalibur was then recalled by Clint back through the wormhole where they realised the fracture had closed and things were now stable. The incident proved to be the beginning of a new mandate for eXcalibur - to monitor the wormhole and identify and address potential instabilities.
