The West Coast Annex is a satellite training facility associated with the X-Men.
Founding
In April 2006, after an elopement and marriage, Alison Blaire and Haroun al-Rashid made the decision to step down as active members of the X-Men in order to focus on their life together and raising Alison's adopted son, Miles. To this end, they left Westchester for Southern California, and after discussion with Professor Charles Xavier, instituted the West Coast Annex as a training facility for reserve X-Men and adult mutants who would not fit in with the curriculum at the school.
