Quicksilver One of twins born to Erik Lensherr and his Rom wife Magda, Pietro sought his terrorist father out as a teen, eventually joining his Brotherhood of Mutants. The events of X2, however, rocked his faith in his father's vision, and he became a double agent, feeding information to the X-Men in an attempt to mitigate Magneto's extremes. When his cover was blown, he fled for his life to Charles Xavier, cutting a deal with the US government to avoid imprisonment for his own terrorist actions. He reunited with his sister Wanda, but their relationship, always a rocky one, had further strain placed on it by her position with X-Force. Pietro became an X-Man in order to try and redeem some of his own actions, but it wasn't enough for him - never a people person - to make the connections he needed, and the speedster eventually took on a job as security consultant to the royal family of Attilan, old friends of his. Attilan is but a small island - will Pietro's notoriously short attention span find another avenue in the future?
