Sofia Mantega-Barret: A disgraced FBI profiler, Sofia Mantega-Barret was hired by Emma Frost as the official therapist for the X-Force team. A deal with Remy LeBeau brought her into the field as an active participant, in return for compliance in their sessions from the team. Aloof and highly self-controlled, Sofia nonetheless found herself becoming a part of the team and developing a certain fondness for the younger members, especially Mark Sheppard (who rescued her during a mission gone wrong) and Illyana Rasputin, who she adopted as her assistant. With their departures, Sofia withdrew into herself again, and is now working as a consultant profiler and expert witness for various court cases.
