A Horseman attack on American soil brings the X-Men face-to-face with the Marauders, and finally some answers.

Timing
Plot Summary
Troy, Alabama, is abruptly sealed off by state, federal, and SHIELD forces amid a mysterious crisis involving sudden deaths and military lockdowns. Governor Kay Ivey confirms an investigation but denies disasters or attacks.
Stacy-X alerts Darcy about Jenn Dunn, trapped inside with deadly incidents and aggressive military searches underway. Darcy assembles a specialized X-fellow team — including Clarice, Kane, Molly, Sooraya, and Nica — to extract Jenn covertly and avoid escalating conflict. Kevin provides intelligence and secures a safe location.
The team teleports near Troy but faces disrupted mutant powers inside the city. They proceed stealthily to an abandoned steel plant where Jenn hides. During extraction, they are ambushed by hostile forces including Greycrow, Vertigo, and Marauders. The team fights through power disruptions and intense combat, resulting in Vertigo’s death and Prism’s destruction.
Spectrum (Nica) and Conduit (Darcy) battle Marauders Malice and Prism, who reveal that Essex knows more of the Horseman's plans before Prism accidentally kills Prism and Malice retreats.
The team escapes under heavy pursuit, regrouping wounded but intact at a safe point. Darcy insists on immediate medical care as Clarice opens a portal for their extraction.
Afterward, Darcy shares the information learned: Laurie Collins has been grafted with Kyle's DNA and has new powers, and the Horseman are tied to En Sabah Nur, who only needs to release one more to rise. Death.
