Amanda Sefton gets a lead on a previously-unknown library which may contain the cure for Garrison Kane's magical malady. The catch? A private buyer isn't likely to share.

Plot Summary
Clint Barton sends an encrypted message to Amanda Sefton warning her about a collection of magical texts being moved from the University of East Transia to Symkaria by the Knights of Wundagore, a secretive group closely tied to Chthon and chaos magic. Amanda investigates the origins and significance of the books and discusses the situation with Marie-Ange.
Kane joins Amanda, Wanda Maximoff, and Marie-Ange at Snow Valley to plan the interception of the occult library in transit. Wanda and Amanda explain the magical importance of the texts. Kane secures a stealth plane, and Marie-Ange arranges for ground transport.
Kane approaches Jean Grey to ask for help piloting the Blackbird for the mission. He reveals his worsening condition due to magical disruption. Jean agrees to assist, insisting on transparency.
Wanda and Kane travel to Symkaria to request support from Silver Sable International. Silver Sable provides armored vehicles for the mission in exchange for future favors.
The team ambushes the convoy transporting the occult library. Jean disables the lead armored vehicle as Kane and Amanda trap the truck carrying the books. The team secures the vehicles and prepares to examine the cargo.
Inside the truck, they discover a strange arcane device atop chaotic machinery. Upon triggering the device, a prerecorded monologue plays from Dr. Faustus that espouses the fusion of magic and science. His trap triggers to summon creatures made of raw entropy. They attack the team.
The team fights the creatures using their combined magical and mutant abilities. Wanda and Amanda work to disable the device while others hold the lines. After an intense battle, the device is destroyed, the creatures dissipate, and the threat ends.
The team gathers the occult library and departs the ambush site via the Blackbird, completing the mission.
