Plot Summary

Molly and Clint investigate a sudden wormhole anomaly, but upon suiting up and entering, they discover the connection behaves unusually. They find themselves inhabiting the bodies of their teenage doppelgangers inside a high school alongside teen versions of Tony Stark, Peter Parker, and Monica Rambeau. They soon learn that a gamma-powered science prototype is missing, threatening the stability of the dimension.

Molly updates X-Force, instructing them to infiltrate the school undercover and locate the missing device, warning that inhabiting teen bodies is necessary. Kevin and Marie-Ange arrive as high school seniors, quickly learning their counterparts’ backgrounds as they prepare to investigate. Using charm and hacking, they access school records and begin mapping potential suspects. After analyzing dominant social groups, they delegate reconnaissance and plan infiltration, with Kevin calling for volunteers across teams. He emphasizes the mission’s dangers and the need to blend seamlessly into 2003 high school life.

Haller and Garrison go undercover with the football team and Chess Club, respectively. They question Victor Creed, who admits to stealing a "super hamster" and giving it to Fred Dukes, clearing the jocks of suspicion.

Topaz and Felicia question Peter Parker, who admits letting Janet Van Dyne and Yelena Belova into the Science Club room to photograph a test but confirms no device theft.

Clea and Meggan interrogate Janet and Yelena, confirming their break-in was solely for test photos and academic advantage. The device remains missing.

Artie and Kurt infiltrate the outcast teens and learn Janet and Yelena were caught breaking in; photos show the device was still in the lab then, further narrowing the suspect list.

Hope and Sarah spend time interrogating rich kids at the mall, probing for gossip about suspicious activity near the science lab. They question Harry Osborn and Liz Allan, who dismiss rumors about mischief, but Danny Rand reveals that Harry once paid to copy the Science Lab key. The conversation uncovers potential access points and motives related to the missing device.

Jay and Inez speak with Melissa Gold, a theatre student rehearsing for the upcoming production of Grease. She reveals she left her backpack in the locked science room after fifth period and that janitor Mister Toynbee let her in. Toynbee was seen speaking with the science teacher, Dr. Bruce Banner, linking him to the lab around the time the device disappeared.

The largest concentration of undercover teens gathers at the 1980s-themed school dance, RAYGUN. While the investigation continues, Kevin and Marie-Ange confront janitor Mortimer Toynbee in the basement, who returns the missing device. Outside, they destroy it to prevent further harm.
