Plot Summary
Alex heads out for a coffee run and stumbles onto something far more compelling. He returns to the X-Factor Investigations office with Inez, who shares troubling news: the Mutant Underground may be compromised. Alex posts a locked update on the teams channel for XFI and quietly reaches out to Terry, Sooraya, and Angelo by email to raise the alarm. As the team begins digging, Arthur takes Inez on a tour of the mansion so the team can get to work.
Terry texts Kyle about potential trouble in the Underground and consults both him and Angelo on trustworthy candidates for community centre security. She also texts Doug to request a deep dive on the centre’s staff.
Days later, Alex follows up, trying to get clarity on the potential mole. Arthur gathers more intel and emails the team with his findings, which Alex then escalates to X-Force. Terry later circulates a broader update to keep everyone aligned on the situation.
Following Inez’s lead, Quentin, Hope, and Alex infiltrate an apartment tied to the Underground leak. They uncover incriminating notes pointing to future drop-offs and confirm that the mole’s activity is ongoing. Though the apartment remains under suspicion, the team makes plans to return with Storm to erase evidence and plug the leak before the next transmission.
