Phase 1 - Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and the Snow Valley Memorial Center for Mutant Affairs are the public faces to two very different teams, both changing the world in their own way. The X-Men - Phase 1, and X-Force - Phase 1.
In 2008, a new team was formed - the New Mutants, aimed at teaching the students how to work together.
In 2010, X-Factor - Phase 1 was formed to address those problems deemed too 'small' for the X-Men and too 'domestic' for X-Force.
X-Corps - Phase 1 was created in 2012 after the events of the Genosha Arc meant distance from Elpis was required, the new group incorporating Red X matters as well as other humanitarian work.
