About

Karen "Frito" Lawrence is currently an active player of X-Project. She began playing Marie-Ange Colbert in May of 2003, and Kyle Gibney in October of 2004. She currently acts as one of the admins for the Xproject wiki, and has been a mod of the game twice previously, retiring from her most recent tenure as a mod in April 2017. She also hosts and maintains the webpage and is generally responsible for dealing with the technical end of any of the webpage-y things for the game.

A former resident of Baltimore and the Washington DC Area, she now lives in San Marcos, CA (a bit north of San Diego) - she hates snow and shoes, and loves seafood, tea and math. She lives with Twiller and their son "Typechip", born in February 2014, and has a truly astounding number of stuffed animals for someone who is in her forties.

She also claims to be 1/4 allosaurus.

May 16 PHASE 1 2003: 2004: Nathan wakes up and argues with Rory Campbell. Moira then reassures Rory that she’s in love with Nathan, not him, and e-mails Amanda to tell her what happened. Amanda then has a brief talk over the phone with someone, and asks Clarice to secretly teleport her to town. 2005: Pete wants to reply to Amanda’s email, but knows he can’t. Jean replies to Thomas’s email, causing her to argue with herself. 2006: The Enemy Within: Scott accompanies Cain to Oregon, where they seek out Cameron Hodge. Jean begins to make amends around the mansion. 2007: Forge emails Kyle, Marius, Jennie and Crystal asking them how they found the courage to fight back. Terry visits Jennie before leaving for Cassidy Keep. Jean pushes Nathan to go see his therapist. Mark posts a music link on his journal. Lorna and Scott talk about the team and the school. 2008: Kevin has his appointment with Jean. Laurie has a good day of archery practice. Angel and Inez meet on the basketball court and bond. Lil emails Nathan about winning money on a horse named after Rachel. 2010: Laurie sends Yvette an email asking for a favor in relation to Kyle's physical therapy. 2011: Sarah V. comes down with the 'flu and Yvette comes to the rescue. Megan makes a journal entry about Miley Cyrus and her video for "Tiger Dreams" in which she sports a fairy costume. Sooraya’s handling of some groceries leads to her meeting one of the mansion's new inhabitants. Clint introduces Billy to the mansion and then to Scott, who explains the deal. 2016: Jessica posts about how she’s eaten so much candy she feels like a pinata. Garrison gets Adrienne to slow down enough for dinner and she tries to play a prank on him. 2017: Jubilee rants on the X-Force comm about 45's divulging of classified information. Sharon F.emails a video clip to a friend for a second opinion. Sooraya emails Kurt, Rogue and Angelo and invites them to her graduation. Lorna emails Warren, asking for time off. Lorna also texts Alex about how this last case has really affected her. 2018: Jubilee teases Garrison about video of him doing karaoke with a unicorn head. Miles and Bobby are cute via text. Warren takes Bobbi out to a corgi breeder for her birthday present. Gabriel lets Clint know he has unofficially passed his GED. 2019: Artie emails Marie-Ange to let her know he’s returning from an extended time in Europe. 2020: 2021: Garrison declares he has no interest in anything except the Stanley Cup playoffs. Moment of Awesome - Molly Hayes/Bruiser: Death enters the battlefield for the first time in New York, and despite Gabe's best efforts begins to take ground, before the appearance of Molly. Death finished flexing his fingers, and turned his open palm towards Gabriel. A ring of jagged teeth gaped obscenely back at him. "Are you perhaps the sort of man who has developed a visceral hatred of 'Time in a Bottle'?" asked the Horseman. A sound somewhere between a crackling and a humming noise was heard as two rounds of electricity belonging to a small drone shot at Death's side and lower back from overhead. "Am I interrupting the golden oldies reminiscing?" came the voice from the drone, which sounded like Molly, who was nowhere to be found. "Good. Zap zap motherforker." Death's muscles seized at the current. The shock was not organic in origin: nothing his mutation could absorb. Fortunately his other enhancements compensated for it, at least enough to allow him to teleport out of the drone's range. Barely missing a beat, the Horseman gouged a chunk of concrete from the curb and hurled it at the drone with pin-point accuracy. It exploded in a sad shower of metal and circuitry. "Suppose I deserved that for neglecting you. My apologies, Molly. That was impolite of me." Death cast about for the drone's controller, orange eyes scanning the sidestreets. Another electric zap erupted at him from another drone strategically hovering nearby. "Don't worry about it," Molly said, this time right next to him, her eyes glowing purple as she cold-clocked him with a punch, using the zap as a distraction. For all of Gabriel's time manipulation, his strength had still been that of a baseline human. Molly's was not. The blow sent Death flying into a storefront with an impact so great a piece of his ashen armour went spinning across the street.
