In the process of doing so, they discover that Margaret Rushman is being backed by Madame Masque and the Nefaria as well to force the Karnellis to allow her to assume more power in the family. The Rushman family is in crisis. Frank Rushman was ambushed outside of his home and shot twice. He survived but was forced back underground to try and recover.
