Attilan: Attilan, an island in the Azores, is the birthplace of two of the mansion's newer residents, Crystal and Medusa Amaquelin. Best known for its wine and art, Attilan is a beautiful country with picturesque beaches and lush forests. Though run by a democratic government, Attilan also possesses a royal class that performs public, social and ceremonial duties. The royal family of Attilan consists of the Boltagon and Amaquelin families. The current king and queen are Agon and Rynda, with their two sons (Blackagar and Maximus) holding the title of prince. The king's brother, Quelin, holds the title of lord and his wife (Ambur) and two daughters (Medusalith and Crystalia) hold the title of lady. Due to the events in the Smichov ghetto in Prague, Attilan relaxed its immigration policies to allow mutants the ability to seek haven within its borders. Though most people don't know that the entire royal family of the country are mutants, it is common knowledge that Attilan is very mutant friendly. Most people attribute these policies to the mutant status of the Amaquelin children.
