Details

The Eye of Agamotto is a semi-sentient magical artifact which is generally seen as the mark of the Sorcerer Supreme. The artifact is capable of manipulating chance to ensure that it arrives in the hands of the sorcerer it has chosen. This could be an established sorcerer, or one who has not yet come into their powers yet. The Eye is capable of enhancing a sorcerer’s powers and providing information to its user if it believe they are worthy and in need of the information. In this way it is able to take a potential candidate and mold them into a true Sorcerer Supreme over time.

The downside of this is that the Eye tends to attract black magicians and demons, drawn by its power. Its possessor is as much a guardian of the Eye as the beneficiary and must protect it at all costs.
