2004: Scott has a long talk with his grandfather, involving some helpful advice. Miles has an Important Question for Haroun, leading Haroun and Alison to have a Serious Talk.

2005: Terry has breakfast with Tommy, then gives him a guitar lesson. Bobby doesn't take the sight of them together well, after last night's revelation, and there is some yelling and punching of things, and the gym gets a makeover, for which Bobby later publicly apologises. Forge makes Kyle a snowboard and he decides to see if the roof provides enough gradient to use it.

2006: Forge and Laurie talk and decide to keep the fact they're apparently dating quiet, given his staff status. The quarantine is lifted from the brownstone and Amanda visits Kurt, unknowingly running into Marius and discovering in the process that she can still Heal - with a price. She goes straight to Jean to tell her what she almost did; Jean discusses the matter with Scott, Charles and Ororo, and asks Cain and Logan to volunteer as donor power sources; Cain emails Amanda about it. Remy checks with Marie that Ororo is still in Africa and then asks Doug to check on weather patterns; he discovers something very wrong is going on and makes plans to go to Africa. Jennie encourages Crystal to come to the New Year's party at Silver.

2007: Kurt finds Yvette in the woods and talks to her about her powers and self-image. Alex returns from Christmas time away, to discover Shiro has become physically addicted to Alex's powers; after an ugly scene, Alex leaves and goes to stay with Lorna after letting Scott and the rest of the school know he's leaving. Mr Pinstripe Suit: Wanda emails Kurt, back from Germany, and tells him they're going out dancing; afterwards, they're invited to join a local competition. Julio goes to confession and talks to the priest about San Diego for the first time. Amanda returns from her Christmas travels.
