Plot Summary

Doug detects a video titled "mutant vs men in black" showing a young woman with metal claws fighting armed professionals. Recognizing the threat, he alerts Kyle to assemble a quick response team.

In rural Nebraska, Laura and Dr. Sarah Kinney are ambushed in a grocery store. Laura defends civilians and neutralizes attackers, but they become surrounded. Unknown to them, their fight is briefly broadcast online before vanishing.

Rogue leads Logan, Maya, Kyle, Madin, and Doug to the town, now eerily deserted. Evidence of conflict and military presence appears, including a corpse and sealed vehicles. Doug begins hacking one for intel.

At a ravaged market, the team finds a gravely wounded Dr. Kinney. She warns that Laura has been taken and triggered into a berserker state. As Doug intercepts a panicked military broadcast from a nearby airfield, he splits the team: Maya and Rogue evacuate Sarah, while Logan, Kyle, Madin, and Doug head out to intercept.

At the airfield, the team strikes quickly. Madin clears the gate; Kyle and Logan breach enemy lines. Injured and hiding, Laura recognizes the newcomers as allies and joins the fight. Madin pulls her into the truck, and the team escapes just as the Blackbird arrives. Laura asks if her mother survived. No one answers.

The team evacuates Dr. Sarah Kinney and Laura back to the mansion.
