Esther Miller-Williams	A rich socialite who lost her husband and daughter during a violent mutant manifestation about seven years ago. Esther decided to turn her pain into something ‘good’ and founded the Sapiens Foundation to support other people in similar situations as hers. Living on her husband’s pension, she spends most of her time fundraising for her Foundation and sharing her story to advocate for more stringent anti-mutant measures. PB: Téa Leoni, socked by.

Details

This charitable private foundation in Pittsburgh was founded by Mrs. Miller-Williams after her husband and daughter were killed because of a violent mutant manifestation. It supports people who have been hurt by mutants, may it be financial, legal, medical or what else is needed. Unique amongst the organizations, it has a Japanese American young woman called Ayame Inoue with electrokinetic powers as an important spokesperson, pleading for anti-mutant measures. This gives them an extra layer of legitimacy.
