Biography
Jennifer was something of a shy and retiring girl once upon a time, the studious daughter of a Californian sheriff and his wife. Life was fairly quiet for the family until Jennifer was seventeen - she and her parents were in a car accident on the way to pick up her cousin from the airport, and while William and Elaine died on impact, Jennifer's mutant powers manifested, and she was able to break herself out of the car before it exploded.
The previously quiet and shy girl now had no option other than be noticed - along with the superstrength, speed, agility, stamina, and reflexes Jennifer now possessed, she was also a very loud green. The change pushed Jennifer into developing something of a protective persona, one that was more outgoing and confident than Jennifer had been once. It was this shift that ended up pushing her to law school, and she became good friends with Warren Worthington when they both attended UCLA's School of Law.
Once she graduated, however, she didn't have an easy time finding work. While no one would come out directly and say it, hiring a visible mutant had it's risks. She finally got a job working for Legal Aid in New York (before Day Zer0) thanks to an old friend of her mother's. She's been there since, struggling against the prejudice against mutants and having just about no luck in advancing her career, despite being a brilliant lawyer. She is the dumping ground for all of the cases no one else wants to handle, ranging from the most difficult to the most boring, as well as defending those criminals who have committed the most abhorrent crimes. She has been trying to find a new job for years now, but none of the big law firms will touch her, and her applications to the District Attorney's office have been unsuccessful.
In October 2011, Warren asked Jennifer to help out with a case he was working on for XFI, representing a teenage mutant in trouble with the law after robbing a liquor store. She was able to

Powers/Abilities
Jennifer has super strength, speed, agility, stamina, and reflexes. Her body is also superhumanly durable, impervious to force, pain, and disease: her skin can withstand extremes of temperature, as well as tremendous stresses and impacts without puncture wounds or lacerations. She has an impressive healing factor, one that is capable of dealing with any injury her durability doesn't protect her from.
Her strength level is dictated by her emotional state, and she has not tested the limits of her strength at all.
