2003: Moira examines Marie and finds that Stanley's powers aren't fading. Marie also reveals she was taken by the military after the fall and tests were conducted on her. Pete goes to London to find out why the British government is closing down Muir Island.
2004: Lorna reads a letter she wrote to Alex, but they continue on their separate ways. Shiro almost overhears the conversation, and suggests some professional help. After a breakfast of instant oatmeal with Angelo, Nathan takes Moira to San Francisco, where they visit the hotel where Aliya and Tyler were killed, and the shared experience draws them even closer. Back at the mansion, Paul’s twin sister Jeanne-Marie shows up at the doorstep; Sam takes her down to the infirmary, where she promptly flips out and attacks Hank, but is calmed by the intervention of her brother.
2005: Scott and Jean plan more wedding. Butterfly Effect: Under the influence of a virus, Betsy is brought back by Madelyn and Remy and then sucks them and several students and other staff members into her memories of her past.
