| Shiro Yoshida: Proud Japanese national, Shiro was taught by his uncle to resent the U.S. for the hurts Japan had suffered during WW2. Being sent to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters for powers training was almost an indignity too great to bear, however, despite himself (and his family's Yakuza connections), he found himself making friends such as roomie Alex Summers, with whom he would have a tumultuous, sometimes sexual, relationship.
