Marie D'Ancato has come a long way from the frightened girl who stowed away in Logan's truck in X1, growing into a self-assured young woman and experienced X-Man. Her inability to touch remains her curse and while she has mastered the skills of flight, super-strength and invulnerability she permanently absorbed from a Brotherhood member, she still fears intimacy.
