| Daughter of an Australian media mogul and his Aboriginal wife, Monet St. Croix was the veritable spoiled rich brat and enfant terrible. Expelled from a number of private schools, she was eventually sent to Xavier’s, where she discovered there was more to the world than just enjoying herself. She joined the NGO Elpis and later became an X-Man, inititially out of boredom but remaining out of a growing sense of altruism. Following an incident where her estranged brother tried to steal her brain with his powers, Monet found herself dealing with being less than perfect for the first time in her life as she coped with brain damage in the aftermath. In 2012 she returned to Australia to work for her father following a rowdy break up with then-boyfriend Kurt Sefton.
