During a mission to retrieve an asset from a secret Sentinel program, X-Force discovers they're on the only ones who have information on the mutant-hunting robots - the Brotherhood of Mutants are on their way and XF are hopelessly outmatched.

Timing
Plot Summary
Citing a tip from a contact, Amanda contacted Marie-Ange about another Sentinel project targeted by Magneto and an asset inside who needed extraction before the Brotherhood turned up. With the Brotherhood to take down the research facility, all X-Force needed to do was bypass security, infiltrate and rescue the asset before they were killed by the Brotherhood incursion.
Almost immediately, the first team - Kevin, Darcy, Gabriel and Doug - ran into trouble as Kevin hit an EM field which scrambled his powers and required Gabriel to pull him out. North and Natasha took over the security station while Jubilee and Felicia retrieved the asset, who turned out to be Clint Barton. Things got dangerous when the Brotherhood arrived early, leaving the third team - Amanda, Marie-Ange, Artie, Wanda and Emma - to use magically-augmented illusions, chaos and telepathy to confuse them long enough for everyone to get out. It was a close call, but they succeeded, with Kevin and Marie-Ange later discussing the worrying implications of a government-sponsored Sentinel project.
