July 26 - Sooraya Qadir's birthday

PHASE 1

2003: Pete takes a group of students to New York for the day. Alison takes others to the Ridge Folk Festival.

2004: Nathan tries to return to teaching still injured and his students tell Charles. Illyana tells Miles what happened to her in Limbo. Jean-Paul takes Clarice out without her inducer. Haroun returns to the mansion. X-Men Firefountain mission in Iceland.

2005: Paige and Amanda square off and come to an astoundingly Zen solution to their spat earlier in the year. Clarice and Angelo have a talk about Charlie Plunder and his non-coping, but Angelo's still being distant. Manuel and Kitty sunbathe and he tries to make her feel better without using his empathy. It doesn't go very well. Madelyn goes to New York to meet a young mutant named Jennie Stavros and bring her back to the mansion. Nathan meets Saul Morrow for lunch, fails to hide his suspicion, gives in to temptation on several levels and makes Saul very happy. Forge gets to give Jennie the grand tour. Lorna has some questions for Haroun about Alison, and is not reassured by the answers. Terry plays music for a napping Catseye. Catseye finds Dani outside and is talked at. Jennie meets Manuel, and they get on surprisingly well. Clarice and Scott discuss her punishment for the incident with Illyana on the journals, and her problems. Dani asks Alison about getting back into Tai Chi.

2006: Scott is finally released to his room, and Betsy comes to visit him. She doesn't hit him this time. Buzkashi: Nathan and his team are still chasing leads in Afghanistan, and he has a telekinetic fit as his powers are slowly returning; Nathan and Angelo eventually find an enslaved young mutant, Sooraya Quadir, and Nathan buys her from her captors and then has to reassure her.

2007: X-Men Mission: Fin Fang Foom!!!: Christian Kane arrives at the school and despite a less-than-friendly reception from Garrison, manages to get the X-Men's help with his problem. Cain announces the treehouse has suffered damage and is off-limits.

2008: Seven Minutes In Heaven: Nick Fury asks for assistance with a possible Mistra offshoot program found in Alaska; Phoenix takes a team up north to investigate along with a SHIELD team; investigations reveal some kind of genetic research program, but before anything solid can be discovered they are interrupted by a combined force of Tara Trask with her people and John Lense with a number of mercenaries; the X-Men try to distract the intruders so the SHIELD scientists can finish their task, but Cable is almost killed by Ilyas Saidullayev and Lense while Trask uses her psionics to distract Skin and the scientists and get away with various files; Wildchild rescues Cable from drowning but he remains in a coma whilst the team is evacuated home; Scott reports on the mission. Bhagavad Gita: Emma emails Garrison letting him know Calysee's fate - trapped in memories of Srinagar and the carnage she wrought; Emma invites Bishop for a drink.

2009: Mutation Sternutation: Marie's powers come back; Marie emails Jean to ask if it's possible to be reinfected with the virus, but Jean tells her she can't catch it again; Jean posts her report on the pick up; Crystal emails Laurie about her disappointment in not having Crystal's powers any more; Callie is meditative on the nature of being a mutant in the wake of her powers returning. Jay emails Kyle about the aggressiveness of his response to Lex the day before. Lex emails Lil and it goes badly. Lex asks Nick to come out hunting with him. Crystal emails Lex about people misjudging his tone. Manuel emails Lex warning him off Lil and her anger issues. Manuel emails Amanda about her comment about Bethany. Manuel thanks Callie for the babysitting. Cammie and Catseye go into New York for a shopping trip and Catseye gets a shock when she tries to play with some of her old feral cat companions and they react to her as if she was human; Cammie notices Catseye is still in the woods. Yvette asks if it's all right to go back into the woods. Forge runs into Manuel at Harry's and they talk about the women in Manuel's life and a recurring pattern of attraction; Cammie runs into a drunk Manuel and things get odd. Lex apologises for his tone in the previous day's post. Cammie texts Callie about Valentia being in her suite. Callie offers extra cookies to Fred. Jake posts a final example in the "Why Sweden Is Crazy" discussion. Jan finds Dori moping after a call to her mother and they talk families and dumb fathers.

2010: Laurie and Jean-Paul talk about astronomy and then Laurie asks Jean-Paul if he'd fly with her. New Orleans: The Pontchartrain Strain: Marie-Ange ends a life under the watch of the Assassin's Guild, and talks to their leader about his sister's spying. Laurie suggests Jean-Phillipe look at joining the X-Men.

2011: The Problématique: Warren asks if anyone has heard from Vanessa lately after his messages go unanswered; no-one has; going to the X-Factor offices, he discovers Bishop is already working on the case and offers his services.

2012: Angelo brings his birthday tequila to share with Doug and the two of them talk. Yvette posts birthday wishes to Sooraya. Angel leaves a photo album outside Sooraya’s door as a birthday present. Maddie plans a birthday party for Sooraya. Scott and Angel run into one another in town and discuss danger room sessions and pool. Ashes and Mist: Essex's plan is carried out and Rachel Kinross-Dayspring arrives in the alternate dimension in a rather inconvenient manner.

2013: Jubilee posts about being home for a bit.

2014:

PHASE 2

2015: Laurie texts Kyle that he needs to come to Clint's room with more alcohol. Different Breed: Jean-Paul meets the contact Raymonde Belmonde reached through his various associates and agrees to go the “sanctuary” Angelo promises. Scott, Matt and Warren discuss the trio's vigilantism, Miles being underage and how they could have handled everything better, with mixed results.

2016: Nina posts a poll about seeing the new Star Trek movie and which crew member is the real McCoy for Bones-ing. Lorna texts Alex about needing to get supplies. Tabitha makes a journal entry asking for help with changing a phone number.

2017: Laurie texts Doug, Marie-Ange, and Wade seeking company while she recovers from her recent injuries. Marie-Ange goes to talk to Angelo, having found out about his engagement to her cousin from outside sources.

2018: Sins of the Father: Angelo emails Wanda to tell her it was Adam Destine who hurt Amanda; sleep doesn’t fix all problems, and, in Amanda’s case, sleep might have made everything worse; Marie-Ange posts to all teams minus Gen-X inquiring about Topaz’s disappearance; It's been all of five-ish hours since the news of Topaz' departure before Amanda tries to get up, and Cecilia isn't having any of it; Topaz barely has time to start adjusting before rescue comes, only to discover it's an illusion; still reeling from the encounter with “Amanda”, Topaz isn’t particularly prepared for what the Destines have in store for her next; the torture and isolation continue, until Jasmine comes to heal her.
