Eyebrows rising, Stephen reached for the cart he'd been using to restock the rooms and pulled out a box of Bandaids. "Well, I can help disinfect the scratches, at least, but if your ribs are bothering you that much, I actually will go ahead and call Doctor Voght so she can do an x-ray because bruised or cracked, you're gonna want some kind of medication so they won't hurt as bad."
Pulling off his shirt with another wince, Liam nodded, "Cat scratches," he clarified, moving to a table in an exam area, though he wasn't entirely sure he could get up to sit on it when he got there. Ugh. This was already annoying.
Stephen pulled his mobile from his pocket to dial Amelia as he swiped some chlorhexidine swabs. A brief conversation later and she'd assured him she was on her way down to the MedLab. Nudging a stool over toward Liam, Stephen laid out all his supplies. "Are any of the scratches bothering you more than the others?"
"Not really? They all hurt. But these look worse?" Liam indicated the ones on his right side. "But I'm breathing? It hurts, but it's not... difficult. Does that make sense?"
"It does," Stephen said, opening one of the swabs. "Do you have any allergies or a healing factor I should know about, before we get started?"
He shook his head. "No healing factor, " that was why Shatterstar had insisted on the medlab. "No allergies to medication. I'm sensitive to air particulates and I got pneumonia once that had to be treated with both human and cat medications."
"Excellent," Stephen said, nodding as he began disinfecting the cuts on Liam's side. "Thank you for that information. I'm sure it's all in your file, but I don't have access to that - not until I'm an actual MD, anyway. These cuts are shallow enough, I don't think they'll need stitches. But Doctor Voght will be able to give you a much better estimation once she gets down here. Seems like you've got a good friend there - would you like him to stay with you while you're here?"
"It's up to him," Liam was annoyed that his suitemate had carried him to the medlab instead of letting him walk. He would have gone. But he also kinda appreciated that Star cared.
"I'll stay," Shatterstar said with a resolute nod. "If that's okay with Liam." He was grateful that Liam's injuries didn't seem bad.
Liam nodded, he didn't mind and if Shatterstar felt better staying, then sure. He was taken a few minutes later to get xrays, but the wait wasn't long to get the results. Fortunately, no broken ribs. "Well, that's something good at least," he commented.
Having finished restocking the few bay rooms they had in the MedLab, Stephen looked up from where he was cutting tubing and smiled. "Great. You get the extra strong Tylenol, per Doctor Voght's instructions. I know she probably covered this with you already, but remember you can double up on Tylenol and Advil, if the pain's that bad. Alternating, of course." Stephen stood up and moved over to the medication dispenser. His login wasn't able to get more than the over the counter meds out and any overrides had to be approved by one of the MDs. Still, it was nice he could finish up and Amelia didn't have to stay to do more than charting.
Stephen handed the bottles to Liam a moment later. "Take care."
2017: Lorna ruminates on the passage of time. Quentin and Amanda talk about his sacrifice and resurrection. Tandy emails Emma about Adrienne’s finances and property.
2018: Topaz suggests the Mansion celebrate Diwali this year.
2019: Molly and Angelo discuss Halloween, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and family after Muir.
2020: Molly and Kyle train in the Danger Room and Molly gets to see Kyle's healing factor at work.
2023:A Haven to Call Home: Media Post: A report about the death of a mutant named Azah, blame is cast upon the US Government, accusations about anti-mutant hate are made; Terry messages Sooraya and Angelo asking if they knew her. Rictor texts Shatterstar, Match and Liam asking what the Brotherhood is. Sooraya texts Kyle asking about his flight qualifier test.
2024: Emily runs into Quentin. Humanis Honoribus Amicis: Hope A., Doug, Emma and Sue meet to share notes on the progress they’ve made and lay plans for action at an upcoming event. Scott shows Gaia around the mansion.
2004:Lockheed the dragon hatches out of the Asgardian egg Jamie gave Kitty and startles Illyana. Kurt kidnaps Scott to Harry's and questions him about his insomnia.
2005:Kashmir Waltz: In Kashmir, Nathan and Angelo discover that the Kashmiri government is taking young mutants from their homes to "train" them; Nathan's medication is stolen after an altercation with angry villagers. Forge admits to Jay that he has a crush on Paige. Scott suggests that Warren take over the Flight class whilst Haroun is unable. Amanda emails Angelo to tell him about Jono.
2006: Forge meets Yvette and shows her the self-repairing cloth he's invented that will stop her cutting things on contact. Haller reapplies for the school counsellor job, being cleared by Charles. Angelica helps Kyle's sore back. Tommy leaves a gift for Yvette in apology for startling her.
2007: Sofia provides hangover remedies following the New Orleans party. Amanda decides to start the bus run again in light of the weekend's events. Jay has reunions with Forge and Terry, but is reticent about his music career. Kevin meets Yvette, and they bond over a shared issue. Marie-Ange and Amanda share breakfast, and questions over what happened in New Orleans.
2008: Adrienne is gleeful about the Red Sox victory and has a conversation with Marie-Ange about precognition; Amanda emails Marie-Ange after catching a slip concerning the other girl's loss of precog and Marie-Ange confesses it's been gone since the previous winter. Wanda returns from Russia and finds herself hosting a party. Sam gives Catseye and interesting History homework assignment. Catseye talks to Forge about his fear and gives him some good advice.
2009: Callie talks to Julian by the pool and pesters him into telling her he's been fooling around with Inez.
2010: Kurt e-mails Vanessa, to request X-Factor's help with finding Nick. Vanessa posts to the X-Factor journal comm to let them know about the new investigation.
2012: Haller and Hope discuss Hope's recent difficulties with her powers. Haller then posts to the staff comm letting everyone know that Hope's parents have been told to give her some space, and to keep an eye on Hope in class to see if her spells get any worse. Doug texts Wade. Lorna and Sue discuss surfing. Sue leaves a cake for Adrienne to cheer her up. Kurt catches Rachel sneaking out of the mansion, and offers to help her.
2013: Garrison announces he is going into the city and asks why is there a ginger cat breaking into his room all the time; Garrison meets with Abigail Brand, now leader of SWORD, a sub-division of SHIELD, and manages to get a favour to help Vanessa, at a price. Lorna feeds a grateful Tabitha. Tandy asks for volunteers during the holiday season to help out at her uncle’s soup kitchen. Garrison emails Vanessa to let her know who she can talk to at SHIELD to fix her problem.
2014: Amanda and Tandy meet up after magic class and talk about the Dweller and his memories and a plan is formed to take a closer look at the memories. Adri makes a journal entry about how annoyed she is with Tandy over becoming addicted to this game thanks to her. Higher Than Hope: Laurie’s circumstances get worse.
