Karen "Frito" Lawrence is currently an active player of X-Project. She began playing Marie-Ange Colbert in May of 2003, and Kyle Gibney in October of 2004.

A former resident of Baltimore and the Washington DC Area, she now lives in San Marcos, CA (a bit north of San Diego) - she hates snow and shoes, and loves seafood, tea and math. She lives with Twiller and their son "Typechip", born in February 2014, and has a truly astounding number of stuffed animals for someone who is in her forties.

She also claims to be 1/4 allosaurus.

September 10 PHASE 2 2015: Jean-Paul texts Kitty to tell her he’s going out and not to go into his room if she hears "something". Maya texts Clint asking if he’s avoiding her. Bas posts asking if anyone can give him advice on getting a job and finding a home for the mouse Clea left in his sock drawer. Felicia posts a picture of herself from Fashion Week. Kitty texts Jean asking what she’s been up to these days. Cecilia posts inviting people to watch Heathers in one of the common rooms as long as they aren’t terrors. Maya texts Clint to tell him that he’s being childish by ignoring her. Bas and Nica run into each other in person shortly after school starts, and they chat about things military and air force, powers demonstrations, and unwelcome skritching. 2016: Molly and Garrison bump into each other while visiting Daisy in the barn, and he agrees to give her some advanced training. PHASE 1 2003: Moira meets Haroun and in the course of discussion discloses that her son Kevin died as a result of his mutation. Marie-Ange proposes a powers study group for those students not receiving active training. 2004: Shiro reveals the existence of his sense of humor to Doug, and Amanda and Angelo bond further. Angelo also spends time with Nathan and their pets, while Nathan has a Danger Room run with Lorna, and with Haroun’s help talks down a young pyrokinetic from killing himself and a gang of FOHers. Sarah e-mails Kylun about her past, having found out with Shinobi’s help that they share similar stories. 2005: Nathan confronts Jake on the ethics of his job. X-Men Mission: Stalemate: At a Hellfire Club function, Betsy is infected with a psychic virus that was engineered in the Peru lab and her telepathy goes haywire. 2006: 2007: Zan Zar Zameen: Sooraya and John make an unsettling discovery; Garrison and Jono come across Natasha Romanova, who tells them things are more complicated than they seem; the madrasah launches an attack against the refugee camp, sweeping John and Sooraya up in things in the process; the group fights back, each in their own ways, until things are subdued; Garrison, John, Jono and Natasha track down the man responsible for funding the terrorists, and discover he is Taliban, trying to gain his own prestige and supported by someone only known as the Kingmaker; Sooraya finds her mother. Sam announces his mother has had a fall and he'll be going home for an indefinite period to help her; Sam notifies Scott and asks Farouk to take on his history class. Dani and Forge catch up. 2008: Nathan complains about barometric pressure making his head hurt and is impressed by the work done by Elpis during his coma. Nico comes to Amanda's place for a magic lesson and they wind up catching up on each other's gossip before Nico decides Amanda needs a social life. 2011: Adrienne posts about the perils of exceeding her budget with impromptu drinking parties and asks for help learning how to grocery shop and cook and Sam offers his assistance. 2012: Sonatorrek: Wanda, Paige and Jubilee do some information gathering in Sons of Hel territory; Angelo and Paige meet to discuss their respective finds; Kane finds more bodies associated with his killer, but it doesn't seem to get him any closer, while Amanda, following the pattern, has a different idea of helping. Monday afternoon, Adrienne takes Matt shopping for school clothes and discusses his recovery addict to addict, plus his new relationship with Sue. 2013: Lorna posts about tacos in the kitchen. Matt posts about college and wondering about who his mother is. Hope talks to Matt about what happened during her recent visit home. 2014: Amy and Hope talk on Skype and play on the Foundation of Genetic Harmony forums. Matt and Rogue discover they have different opinions on music, but similar opinions on life. Tandy and Julian discuss life after possession. Jessica and Rogue let off steam (and show off) in the quarry with rocks. Topaz and Sue meet for coffee in the city, and Topaz cruelly shatters all of Sue's dreams about college.

Fitzroy looked back at the end of the labyrinth, noting wryly that the arch around the door was carefully selected human skulls. He'd lost his guards to it, but they had been hired as fodder. Instead, the true prize was ahead of him. An immense cascade of water flowed to his right, disappearing down an abyss that the bottom was lost to darkness. He reached the door to find it open, the vault right in front of him. And occupied. Kevin sat on an rather ornate chair, clearly from the court of the Sun King, gilded and decorated with carved lions. Behind him, a dark haired woman dressed in Black Court attire stood, waiting for him with the calm of a business meeting long scheduled. He was about to step forward but his instincts won out and he stepped back instead. "Trevor Fitzroy. Your plans for the Paris library end here." The man said. "Do they? I still have several hundred hostages upstairs, and with my magic, I'm comfortable burning you down here." "Here's the interesting thing about this library. As a safety measure with all these magic tomes and artifacts, the entire space is warded against magic. It's basically a dead zone where active magic doesn't exist." Kevin smiled. "Normally, I'd let you walk in but my people are still untangling that ward on your heartbeat from the bomb and need a few more minutes. I'm told it might set things off, so instead of killing you, I have to offer you a deal instead." "And why would I take a deal? It is amazing what I can send through this door at you." "Ah, the bluff. Fair enough. The lady behind me is very knowledgeable about magic, but she's a mutant." Wanda leaned her hip slightly against the chair and stared down at Fitzroy. She looked like she was staring at some disgusting creature rather than a person. "Mr. Fitzroy, if you are considering that this might be a bluff, please understand that there are at least half a dozen ways in which I could extinguish your life. From here. That number would grow very quickly if I decided to potentially destroy my lovely gown by approaching you and getting..." She glanced down at her hand, admiring her glistening nail polish with a bored air. Red energy sparked and crackled across her knuckles that the room did nothing to suppress. "More hands on. As for my friend here..." "As for me," The pistol appeared in Kevin's hand like magic. "I know, a gun, how American. But I'm an extremely good shot and know exactly where to hit you to ensure you take hours to die while we defuse the bomb. So I'm willing to offer you a deal. You place all four of the Paris Court's rings on the floor. You follow this path continuing to the left and once you reach the stairway, you follow it up to the street. From the point you leave the labyrinth, all bets are off, but even I don't know where they exit drops you off in Paris. You get to escape with your life. I won't make this offer twice."
